Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the daily shipping and receiving of materials and supplies and the organization of the warehouse.
Our growing company is seeking to hire a 2nd shift Laser Operator at our Wayland Michigan location.
This position has a unique schedule: One week will work 3 days p/week, the next week will work 4 days p/week - that gives you a 3-day weekend every other week. The scheduled hours are 6pm to 6am.

We are looking for an experienced and careful Material Coordinator (Forklift) to join our team. As an employee at MEC, you will be responsible for transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Coordinates material movement between departments per the routing requirements.
- Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials.
- Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves.

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Washer Technician at our Beaver Dam location. You will measure and charge materials in equipment and transfer same in accordance with processing sequences. Observe instruments and gauges, obtain sample for laboratory tests. Regulate and adjust control devices (manual, automatic, electronic) to bring about proper chemical reaction. Maintain process records required.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes, viscometer, chemical balance scales, colorimeter, Ph. meters, Conductivity meters and other equipment.
- Tests solutions used in processes such as cleaning and pickling for chemical concentration or other characteristics.
- Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Records test results on standardized forms and writes test reports describing procedures used. Prepares graphs and charts per the ISO - 9001 Standards.
- Cleans laboratory equipment. Calibrates laboratory instruments.
- Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
- Tests daily the pre-treatment system and adds chemicals or raw materials to process solutions or product batches to correct or establish formulation required to meet specifications, per work instructions.
- Schedules and plans the preventative program and the dumping schedules.
- Employee should understand the functions of and maintenance of anodes, ultra-filters, chillers, and rectifiers on the E-coat system.
- Employee should be able to do E-coat post rinse cleaning and bacteria checks.
- Employee will be responsible for the safe handling, transfer & labeling of Hazardous Waste as detailed in the annual RCRA training class.
- Employee should be able to discuss the primary concepts of the E-coat system and its relationship to the paint line. Trouble shooting system problems and recommending solutions is an expectation of this position.

Overview
Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned. Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials. Supply production area with needed materials from inventory. Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves. Performs preventive maintenance such as: daily vehicle inspection, recharging batteries, or replacing liquefied propane gas (LP) tank.
This person is expected to promote a team atmosphere necessary to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in the department as necessary. Works with production Supervisors, Production Support Coordinator’s & Inventory Control to make effective changes in Systems and Procedures.

- Studies systems and procedures for opportunities for improvement. Proposes changes to Materials Manager. Assures successful implementation of approved improvements.
- Works with Raymond repair personnel to ensure equipment maintenance is current. Also maintains battery charging stations.
- Works with Area Managers and other production department supervisors to facilitate most efficient carrying out of receiving duties.

Must possess or be willing to obtain MEC Material Handling Certification and CLD License A/B.

What it takes to be a MANUAL WELDER with MEC:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one-year related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Ability to train, communicate, and work with others.
- Ability to do basic math
- Be able to lift and move 50 pounds
- AWS certified or the ability to become AWS certified
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity

What you will be doing as a MANUAL WELDER:
- Using provided setup sheet operators verify correct filler metal is installed, changes filler as needed.
- Adjusts weld gas flow per given wps instructions.
- Sets up manual weld machine or downloads program per set up sheet instructions.
- Verifies proper tooling is installed in the robot or staged in manual area.
- Reviews weld requirements from weld prints (size, spacing, location, ECT).
- Loads and locates parts into tooling per print and work instructions.
