2nd shift Production Lead - Neillsville

Shift: 2nd Shift Hours are 4:20pm-2:50am - some additional overlap with first shift maybe required 

Overtime is worked on Fridays and schedule requires 

Type: Full-Time | Reports to: 2nd shift supervisor

We are a growing metal fabrication company looking for a hands-on, people-first Production Lead to oversee our 2nd shift operations, including welding, machining, and tube bending departments (Currently about 12 direct reports). If you’re passionate about developing teams, driving results, and creating a positive shop culture, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of skilled operators and fabricators on 2nd shift 
• Ensure production goals are met with high quality and efficiency
• Set daily priorities based on production schedules and coordinate across departments
• Monitor safety, quality, and performance metrics, making on-the-spot adjustments as needed
• Serve as the go-to person for problem-solving on the floor
• Communicate clearly with 1st  shift leads to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Provide backup coverage for the Production Supervisor
• May perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
• Solid understanding of welding, machining, and/or tube bending operations
• Strong communicator who can give direction and feedback with clarity and respect
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop individuals and teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
• Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
