Responsible for setting up, documenting & maintaining a quality system that will allow us to ensure that only the highest quality parts reach our customers. This system should allow the facility to be ISO and/or QS approved at some later date.
ISO/IATF Experience, Requires a vast knowledge of Quality Concepts, Computer(Excel/Word/Minitab) blueprints, Production Part Approval Process(PPAP)Statistical Techniques, Metroligy and Calibration, Inspection and test, quailt audits and preventive and corrective action.
Hire and train quality department employees as required.
Visit with customers and suppliers both in person and via the telephone to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met.
Set up and perform quality audits as required; incoming, in-process and outgoing.
Ensure that all measurement tools are calibrated on a regular basis.
Education and/or Experience:
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintain instructions, and procedure manuals written in English. Ability to speak effectively in English before groups and customers, and effectively present information, as well as respond to questions presented form groups and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, along with the ability to develop and interpret various types of graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, as well as draw valid conclusions.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
