If you think about the exhaust on your car - that tube has a number of different bends in it. We have operators that create those types of tube bends in a variety of different styles of tubes - from circular to square - from tiny tubes to 6in diameter - we can make them all! Setup and operate various sizes of tube benders to bend different size tubes to required shape. Install bend tooling and align properly. Program bender as needed. Work from job sheet to get proper blank tubes to bend. Use tape measure, super gauge, calipers, and fixed gauges.   The MEC-Neillsville location was acquired in 2008 and has CNC tube bending machines capable of bending mild, aluminized, stainless, and aluminum tubes in both round and square diameters. We provide services to a variety of industries including: military, commercial vehicles, power sports, and agriculture! Our growing company is looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator.    In this role, you will transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned.  Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials.  Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays or shelves.  Process required paperwork.  Perform preventive maintenance such as: daily vehicle inspection, recharging batteries or replacing liquefied propane gas (LP) tank. This role alternates between the Receiving dock in one of our plants and our Warehouse. You'll be trained for both roles so there is adequate coverage.     A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:   - Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items outgoing or incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, address labels and other records. - Determines method of shipment. - Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. - Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. - Inserts items into containers. - Secures product to pallets using stretch wrap or metal banding. - Stamps, stencils or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. - Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. - Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. - Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. - Operates powered lift truck or hand truck to load outgoing freight onto trucks. - Performs all necessary computer transactions. - Operates weight scale and digital counter. - Inserts items into containers. - Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. - Routes items to departments. - Maintains inventory of receiving materials and supplies. - Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags or labels. - Additional duties may be assigned.     Why Work for MEC? This position sets you up to learn our processes and parts - from here you can grow into several other roles within the company!   1st SHIFT: 4 X 10 Monday - Thursday (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) - Fridays are overtime days that we work very frequently (typically work 45-50 hours a week) We offer flexible scheduling and paid time off that accrues as you go - while we have fun at work we also recoginize you need time to do what you need to outside of work whether that be friends, family, hobbies, or anything else!   GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION As the Metal End Finisher, you’ll be responsible for producing quality parts using a variety of metal finishing process equipment.     MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES - Cut off Tubes to correct lengths - Deburr tubes - Shapen the ends of the tube per customer specs (adding lips, grooves, pin dots, etc...) - Stage and Pull Metal Tubes - Assist in all tube bending activities - Train on operating tube benders - Inspect finished tubes for defects (our quality techs double check and sign-off) - Adjust machine setup to correct quality issues - Grind tube ends - Packages parts in appropriate containers. - Cleans and lubricates machines. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ● Maintain a clean and hazard free work area ● Set up workstation and select appropriate tools     Why Work for MEC?
