  We are looking for an experienced and careful Material Coordinator (Forklift) to join our team. As an employee at MEC, you will be responsible for transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned.   A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:   - Coordinates material movement between departments per the routing requirements. - Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials. - Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves.  - Process required paperwork using RF (Radio Frequency) system when/where available.  - Supply production area with needed materials from inventory. - Sorts questionable materials per Quality Control’s request. - Prints and distributes pick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary. - Organize sequence of pulling material and relays information to Material Support. - Ensures production schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods.  Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions. - Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift and between shifts. - Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in the department as necessary. - Works with production Supervisors, Production Support Coordinator’s & Inventory Control to make effective changes in Systems and Procedures.   Why Work for MEC? Our growing company is seeking to hire a Washer Technician at our Beaver Dam location. You will measure and charge materials in equipment and transfer same in accordance with processing sequences.  Observe instruments and gauges, obtain sample for laboratory tests.  Regulate and adjust control devices (manual, automatic, electronic) to bring about proper chemical reaction.  Maintain process records required.    A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:   - Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes, viscometer, chemical balance scales, colorimeter, Ph. meters, Conductivity meters and other equipment. - Tests solutions used in processes such as cleaning and pickling for chemical concentration or other characteristics. - Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications. - Records test results on standardized forms and writes test reports describing procedures used. Prepares graphs and charts per the ISO - 9001 Standards. - Cleans laboratory equipment. Calibrates laboratory instruments. - Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas. - Tests daily the pre-treatment system and adds chemicals or raw materials to process solutions or product batches to correct or establish formulation required to meet specifications, per work instructions. - Schedules and plans the preventative program and the dumping schedules. - Employee should understand the functions of and maintenance of anodes, ultra-filters, chillers, and rectifiers on the E-coat system. - Employee should be able to do E-coat post rinse cleaning and bacteria checks. - Employee will be responsible for the safe handling, transfer & labeling of Hazardous Waste as detailed in the annual RCRA training class. - Employee should be able to discuss the primary concepts of the E-coat system and its relationship to the paint line.  Trouble shooting system problems and recommending solutions is an expectation of this position.    Why Work for MEC? As an employee at MEC, you will apply powder or liquid paint to products where high grade and decorative finishes are required ensuring required film thickness and cosmetic requirements are met.   A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:   - Understands gun, pump, and other equipment operations and makes adjustments as trained to produce quality parts economically. - Follows proper paint procedures including distance from gun to part, flow rates, air pressure, and overlap. - May clean and prepare surface of article to be painted. - May apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. - May select and mix coating liquid to produce desired viscosity. - Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. - Troubleshoot equipment. - May rack work pieces on conveyor. - May inspect parts. - May pour coating liquid into spray container and connect gun to air hose. - Set up paint gun and adjust settings as needed. - May identify proper paint via structure information. - Pull trigger and direct spray onto work surface to apply prime or topcoat. - Load and move material to work area. - Properly use HVLP and Static paint guns. - Identify and troubleshoot paint defects. - Correctly rework parts with paint defects - Maintain a clean and properly functioning gun. - May be responsible for the safe handling, transfer & labeling of Hazardous Waste as detailed in the annual RCRA training class. - May perform additional duties as assigned.   Why Work for MEC?
