Job Summary The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the daily shipping and receiving of materials and supplies and the organization of the warehouse.

  Our growing company is seeking to hire an Assembler.   As an employee at MEC, you are responsible by assembling parts and subassemblies for OEM products.   A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:Work from assembly drawings and specifications - Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or sample parts. - Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts. - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages. - Assembles prototypes with Engineering help. - Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications. - Where required, must achieve certification in riveting. - Must be able to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. - Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.   Why Work for MEC? What will you be doing as a ROBOTIC BRAKE OPERATOR: - Selects, Positions, and aligns dies in machine ram and bed. - Turns setscrews or bolts to fasten clamp bar that holds dies in position. - Writes part programs and stores in machine. - Lays out or details layout on work stock from blueprints. - Positions work piece manually or with crane. - Set-up and adjust computer program for robotic brakes - Converts metric to decimal conversions for set-up and running specifications - Starts machine to lower ram or depresses pedal to activate ram that bends or cuts metal. - Verifies dimensions of work piece and make adjustments if necessary. - Performs visual inspection and verification of parts for defects - Train others in critical brake operation techniques and verifies that the work is done to customer specification. - Rework parts as needed prior to shipment with a focus goal of zero rework of - Reports all brake problems, inaccuracies in brake setup, non-conforming parts and inventory issues to Brake Supervisor. - Keeps work area safe, clean and organized at all times. - Helps handle customer inquiries, schedule changes and expedites. - Demonstrates effective communication with lead and plant leadership. - Attention to detail with a focused goal of zero rework. - Assisting Supervisor / Engineering in developing processes that will improve operations. - Material handles in the area and can provide finished packaging - Other duties as assigned

Our growing company is seeking to hire a 2nd shift Laser Operator at our Wayland Michigan location.   This position has a unique schedule:  One week will work 3 days p/week, the next week will work 4 days p/week - that gives you a 3-day weekend every other week.  The scheduled hours are 6pm to 6am.   In addition to a great starting pay of at least $21 p/hour, for working 2nd shift you receive an additional $1.50/hour shift premium.     **$1,000 Sign-on Bonus** **Paid Vacation upon hire, Benefits after 30 days**   Why Work for MEC? Our growing company is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift Wayland, MI. location. An overview includes routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on all machines and equipment, diagnoses source of problem or potential problem, and maintains or repairs machines or equipment as needed.   **4 - 10 hr. days/2pm - 12/midnight - Mon. through Thurs., overtime as needed Fri./Sat.** $1.50 shift premium $1,000 sign on bonus PTO upon date of hire Benefits after 30 days

As the HRIS Manager at MEC, you will manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). You will partner closely with Human Resources leadership and IT to ensure HR systems are functioning effectively and meeting the organization's needs.

Under general direction, support the design of tools, dies, gauges, fixtures, and equipment. Prepare clear, complete and accurate detail drawings from rough sketches, drawings, notes or electronic files using drafting (CAD) system.

***Opening on 2nd shift, 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday***   Under general supervision, operate electric overhead line crane to move product to and from racks and process through anodizing tanks.  Check and maintain process tank concentrations for pH., temperature and other parameters to assure quality parts.

***Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift***   Provide support to the Manufacturing group in producing customer defined quality products.  Position is actively involved with associates at all levels and requires general supervision.  General duties of position include promote quality principles, resolution of quality issues, providing support in metrology, auditing, and data collection. 

***Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift***   Under general supervision, able to rack, pack, run CNC’s, manual machines, and robotic cells.

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.  Primary responsibility is to weld on the Honda Line.      **Pay commensurate with experience**   ***This is a 2nd shift position - $1.50 p/hr. shift premium**   $1,000 Sign-on bonus Paid Vacation upon start, Benefits after 30 days   Work schedule is 4 - 10 hr. days/Mon. - Thurs., overtime on Fri. & Sat. Our growing company is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician.  An overview includes routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on all machines and equipment, diagnoses source of problem or potential problem, and maintains or repairs machines or equipment as needed.   **4 - 10 hr. days, 2nd shift position** **Overtime Fri. & Sat.**

If you think about the exhaust on your car - that tube has a number of different bends in it. We have operators that create those types of tube bends in a variety of different styles of tubes - from circular to square - from tiny tubes to 6in diameter - we can make them all! Setup and operate various sizes of tube benders to bend different size tubes to required shape. Install bend tooling and align properly. Program bender as needed. Work from job sheet to get proper blank tubes to bend. Use tape measure, super gauge, calipers, and fixed gauges.   The MEC-Neillsville location was acquired in 2008 and has CNC tube bending machines capable of bending mild, aluminized, stainless, and aluminum tubes in both round and square diameters. We provide services to a variety of industries including: military, commercial vehicles, power sports, and agriculture! Our growing company is looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator.    In this role, you will transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned.  Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials.  Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays or shelves.  Process required paperwork.  Perform preventive maintenance such as: daily vehicle inspection, recharging batteries or replacing liquefied propane gas (LP) tank. This role alternates between the Receiving dock in one of our plants and our Warehouse. You'll be trained for both roles so there is adequate coverage.     A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:   - Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items outgoing or incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, address labels and other records. - Determines method of shipment. - Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. - Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. - Inserts items into containers. - Secures product to pallets using stretch wrap or metal banding. - Stamps, stencils or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. - Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. - Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. - Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. - Operates powered lift truck or hand truck to load outgoing freight onto trucks. - Performs all necessary computer transactions. - Operates weight scale and digital counter. - Inserts items into containers. - Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. - Routes items to departments. - Maintains inventory of receiving materials and supplies. - Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags or labels. - Additional duties may be assigned.     Why Work for MEC? As a Sales Administrative Assistant, you will act as liaison between MEC and our customers. You will assist in the quote process, new part launch, and sales reporting. In addition, you will assist in various sales and marketing clerical activities.
