Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.  Primary responsibility is to weld on the Honda Line.      **Pay commensurate with experience**   ***This is a 2nd shift position - $1.50 p/hr. shift premium**   $1,000 Sign-on bonus Paid Vacation upon start, Benefits after 30 days   Work schedule is 4 - 10 hr. days/Mon. - Thurs., overtime on Fri. & Sat. As an employee at MEC, you will perform certain general accounting functions involving the general ledger, month-end closing, technical accounting and consolidated financial reporting.  You will also assist with SEC reporting, investor relations, financial planning and analysis and management/Board of Director reporting, as well as help support the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.  The Corporate Senior Accountant performs a variety of professional accounting work and financial analysis of above average difficulty.  The role is to provide timely and accurate generation of monthly financial and operational financial statements, financial analysis, quarterly external financial reporting and audit support for internal and external stakeholders of the organization.

This position sets you up to learn our processes and parts - from here you can grow into several other roles within the company!   1st SHIFT: 4 X 10 Monday - Thursday (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) - Fridays are overtime days that we work very frequently (typically work 45-50 hours a week) We offer flexible scheduling and paid time off that accrues as you go - while we have fun at work we also recoginize you need time to do what you need to outside of work whether that be friends, family, hobbies, or anything else!   GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION As the Metal End Finisher, you’ll be responsible for producing quality parts using a variety of metal finishing process equipment.     MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES - Cut off Tubes to correct lengths - Deburr tubes - Shapen the ends of the tube per customer specs (adding lips, grooves, pin dots, etc...) - Stage and Pull Metal Tubes - Assist in all tube bending activities - Train on operating tube benders - Inspect finished tubes for defects (our quality techs double check and sign-off) - Adjust machine setup to correct quality issues - Grind tube ends - Packages parts in appropriate containers. - Cleans and lubricates machines. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. $1000 Sign On Bonus!!! ($18.35 - $19.35)  Our growing company is seeking to hire a Painter (Powder Coat). As an employee at MEC, you will be responsible using the paint tools to paint surfaces, parts and products for our customers. A painter will use a variety of techniques to ensure all parts are sprayed and coated to our customer specifications.

$1000 Sign on bonus!!! ($27.60 - $29.10/hr.) Responsible for the upkeep of the industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems.     

$1000 Sign on Bonus!!! $1.50/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift ($18.35-$19.35) Operates computer-controlled laser machines to cut patterns and/or parts from sheet metal producing customer parts from raw material in accordance with job specific work orders and inspection cards.  

$1000 Sign on Bonus!!! ($17.10-$19.35)   This classification may include various general laborer functions such as plug, assembly, finishing, punch press, grinding, running robots and running various machinery.  Responsibilities may include loading, moving materials, assisting  in loading machines, positioning work, setting up jobs, making adjustments or operating machines, final assembly operations plugging, visual inspections.   Performs hand operations, such as filing, de-burring, cleaning, disc grinding, palletizing, banding, folding, etc.  Uses torque wrench and hand tools as needed.  

$1000 Sign on Bonus!!! $1.50/hr. shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift!!!  ($21.25-$25.75)  You will be responsible for preparing metal for weld operations per customer specifications, drawings, and instructions from engineering. Primary duty is performing welding operations on various customer products using manual and/or robotic welding equipment.

$1000 Sign on Bonus!!! $1.50/hr. shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift ($17.10 - $18.10/hr.) This position will be responsible for loading and unloading the paint line.

The Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)  is responsible for Inspection of all welded parts for quality assurance and applicable AWS codes and customer specifications.  The CWI will assist quality and Weld engineers with weld issues and perform weld qualifications to applicable requirements, and assist operators with Weld issues. CWI does all new hire training for welders on weld defect identification. The CWI will drive to customer locations to assist in QA issues, requiring the CWI to carry and sort welded production parts.

Performs plant-level safety and environmental compliance duties under limited supervision.  Acts as liaison to applicable federal, state and local agencies for assigned facility.  Implements Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to protect employees and reduce risk to the company.   Partners with plant leadership to proactively implement preventative measures to reduce the overall risk of injury and environmental concerns.  Investigates EHS incidents to identify root cause and corrective actions. 

As an employee/owner at MEC, you will Sand, grind metal parts to achieve finish ready for painting, plating and as-required by the customer.Use tools such as Dual Action (DA) sander, grinder (4”, 7”, hard and soft backing pads), abrasive cut-off wheel, plasma cutter, wire brush (bench and hand), belt sander to perform sanding, grinding and cutting operations in compliance with drawings (prints) to complete the operation of metal finishing during the manufacture parts.Handle parts by hand and with a hoist to move from in-load to the work table to out-load.

As a Material Handler, you will transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned. Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power driven equipment to load or move materials. Supply production area with needed materials from inventory. Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves. Process required paperwork using RF (Radio Frequency) system when/where available. Performs preventive maintenance such as: daily vehicle inspection, recharging batteries, or replacing liquefied propane gas (LP) tank. This person is expected to promote a team atmosphere necessary to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in the department as necessary. Works with production Supervisors, Production Support Coordinator’s & Inventory Control to make effective changes in Systems and Procedures.

Requires a fundamental knowledge of machine shop operations as acquired by short job training and experience.
