Oversees activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality requirements for customer product relative to processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

Expert trouble shooter and equipment repair person for all types of plant/production electrical and mechanical equipment.  This level of work requires education and experience with all types of electrical and mechanical service skills.  Teaches and/or advises others about how or what to do to make repairs.  Work from complicated drawings and specifications.  Use a variety of precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements.  Apprenticeship, Associate Degree, or equivalent training plus considerable experience is required to perform work.  Work from general assignment and proceed with minimum supervision and direction.

Requires a general knowledge of machining techniques and methods and familiarity with numerical control machine operating procedures. Performs plant-level safety and environmental compliance duties under limited supervision. Acts as liaison to applicable federal, state, and local agencies for assigned facility(s). Implements Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to protect employees and reduce risk. Partners with plant leadership to implement preventative measures to reduce the overall risk of injury and environmental concerns. Investigates EHS incidents to identify root cause and recommend and implement corrective actions.

Oversees the quality assurance processes and ensures compliance with industry standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolves quality issues, and maintains quality management systems.
