Oversees production facilities and manufacturing within, ensuring products and activities are completed safely, within quality standards, on schedule, and within cost objectives.

($21.57-$27.79)  You will be responsible for preparing metal for weld operations per customer specifications, drawings, and instructions from engineering. Primary duty is performing welding operations on various customer products using manual and/or robotic welding equipment.

As an employee/owner at MEC, you will be responsible for setup, adjust and operate all sizes of press brakes to perform a wide variety of forming, notching, bending, and punch operations on a diversified line of work.  Work from drawings, patterns, templates, and specifications. 

The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in welding processes, techniques, and safety procedures. The Weld Team Lead will direct or oversee a team of welders and will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs and projects are completed on time and meet the required standard of quality. Oversees the accounting function for manufacturing operations ensuring financial integrity, driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and providing leadership. Supports strategic decision-making that improves profitability and manages risk across the operations function.

Manages all plant operations for one assigned location. Provides leadership within, and continual development of the operations structure including but not limited to production and financial controls, plant security and safety, regulatory compliance, quality, facilities, and all manufacturing areas. Works cross-functionally to ensure consistency in operations and related strategies. Ensures large-scale projects are completed on time, on budget and meet specified quality standards, production requirements and goals.
