Our growing company is seeking to hire a Divisional Controller at our Corporate Office in Mayville, WI or enjoy working hybrid remote/onsite schedule. As an employee/owner at MEC, you will manage the daily and monthly transactions, processes, and reporting for multiple operating facilities. You will prepare financial and management reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Manage all facets of accounting including preparation of monthly financials, financial reporting, budgeting, and presentations to the management team on results for the facilities.
- Various ad hoc analysis of financial data as assigned.
- Review of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ongoing review and improvement as warranted of the departmental internal controls, including updates to the applicable policies and procedures.
- Manage daily operations and processes within the plant, including but not limited to inventory cycle counting and adjustments, capital acquisitions, product costing, plant performance, and other related production reporting.
- Gross Margin analysis on product lines and customer impacts.
- Other projects and analysis as assigned by the Corporate Controller.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university with an accounting or finance emphasis.
- 7+ years of experience; 3-5 years of relevant controller experience in a plant or manufacturing environment. Previous management / supervisory experience is preferred.
- MBA and/or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience working with a publicly traded company is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal customers such as the Accounting / Finance Department, President, CFO, Vice Presidents, Plant Managers and Supervisors.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Perform work having to do with production operations and processing such as: position light weight materials on conveyor or feed mechanism for continuous processing , or position and/or remove materials to assist Machine Operator, supply containers, light raw materials or perform other like work to include operation of SST programming station.
Operate and control a processing unit or a series of units to effect specific chemical changes in formulated basic substances to produce desired results. Procedures standardized and prescribed although critical due to reactive nature of substances processed and variations. Measure and charge materials in equipment and transfer same in accordance with processing sequences. Observe instruments and gauges, obtain sample for laboratory tests. Regulate and adjust control devices (manual, automatic, electronic) to bring about proper chemical reaction. May modify standard process specifications under the direction of the laboratory to correct irregularities. Maintain process records required.
We are looking for an experienced and careful Material Coordinator (Forklift) to join our team. As an employee/owner at MEC, you will be responsible for transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Coordinates material movement between departments per the routing requirements.
- Operate forklift, electrical hoist or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials.
- Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves.
- Process required paperwork using RF (Radio Frequency) system when/where available.
- Supply production area with needed materials from inventory.
- Sorts questionable materials per Quality Control’s request.
- Prints and distributes pick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary.
- Organize sequence of pulling material and relays information to Material Support.
- Ensures production schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions.
- Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift and between shifts.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in the department as necessary.
- Works with production Supervisors, Production Support Coordinator’s & Inventory Control to make effective changes in Systems and Procedures.

A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:Work from assembly drawings and specifications
- Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or sample parts.
- Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages.
- Assembles prototypes with Engineering help.
- Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications.
- Where required, must achieve certification in riveting.
- Must be able to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

In this role the IT Risk and Compliance Analyst will assist the Corporate Manager of IT Risk and Compliance in assessing, documenting, training, and communicating IT governance and cybersecurity requirements/best practices to internal IT and Business personnel. These responsibilities fall in line with operating mandate of MEC’s IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance program focused primarily on managing IT risks, driving implementation of cybersecurity best practices, enforcing compliance requirements, establishing policy and procedural documentation, and educating our IT and business stakeholders.
