Our growing company is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer.  This position is located in Byron Center, MI.    Supports the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, conducting inspections and tests, and maintaining documentation.

Performs general accounting functions involving the general ledger, month-end closing, and consolidated financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) control environment. Provides timely and accurate generation of monthly financial statements, management operational reporting, financial analysis, and audit support for internal and external stakeholders of the organization.

Manages human resource service delivery across multiple locations within an assigned region. Combines strategic execution with hands-on HR management to support business objectives and maintain consistent HR practices across all sites.

Oversees safety and environmental compliance efforts and relationships with applicable federal, state, and local agencies for assigned facility(s). Implements Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to protect employees and reduce risk.  Partners with plant leadership to implement preventative measures to reduce the overall risk of injury and environmental concerns.  Investigates EHS incidents to identify root cause and recommend and implement corrective actions.
