Overview

Analyzes and interprets data related to sales, inventory, and operations planning to support effective decision-making. Ensures the integration of data from multiple sources to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to sales, inventory, demand forecasts, and production schedules to support SIOP processes.

2. Assists in developing accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales patterns. Identifies discrepancies between actual and forecasted demand and recommends adjustments.

3. Monitors inventory levels and analyzes inventory turnover rates to ensure optimal stock levels. Identifies opportunities to reduce excess inventory while preventing stockouts.

4. Generates regular reports and dashboards on key performance metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service levels. Provides insights and recommendations to improve supply chain performance.

5. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on demand and supply plans.

6. Identifies areas for improvement in the SIOP process and implements best practices to enhance data accuracy, forecasting, and overall supply chain efficiency.

7. Ensures the accurate integration of data from various sources, including ERP and supply chain management systems, to support decision-making.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Skills Requirements

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

· Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with SIOP processes.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills to present data insights to stakeholders.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain optimization practices.

· Experience with statistical forecasting and inventory management techniques.

 

Educational Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, data analytics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

 

Experience Requirements

· Three years of experience in data analysis, demand planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
