This position functions with minimal supervision and is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, and relocating of equipment. Order and maintain necessary supplies. Maintain internal daily communication with Plant Services operations.
1. Responsible for following all safety rules and reporting any safety violations to supervisor. When able correct the safety violation immediately.
2. Responsible for coordinating, problem solving and troubleshooting repair of electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.
3. Responsible for coordinating special projects, i.e. new equipment purchases and installation.
4. Responsible for cutting and welding of equipment.
5. Responsible for maintaining MSA tools and equipment in good working condition.
6. Communicate with vendors and coordinate repairs on equipment.
7. Research part sources and place orders when needed.
8. Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory and supplies as well as keeping these items in proper location.
9. Operate power tools and equipment in a safe manner.
10. Available for off-hour call-in and mandatory overtime.
11. Create work instructions or training documentation for troubleshooting or repairing equipment.
12. Create effective preventive maintenance tasks for manufacturing and other related equipment.

Education and/or Experience, Certifications, & Licenses
Minimum qualifications include a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), a state indentured Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card, Journeyman Millwright Card, Industrial Control Certificate, Associate Degree, or equivalent degree or experience.
Possess valid Wisconsin Operator's License, or ability to obtain one within a reasonable period of time.
