Responsible for the upkeep of the industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to troubleshoot issues on electronically controlled equipment used in a metal fabrication environment such as lasers, brake presses, robots, etc…
Interface with remote service support for problem solving and equipment repairs.
Possess the ability to perform repair tasks on industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems in a safe and timely manner, and to implement corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
Capable of working alone with minimal direct supervision – a self-motivated individual with safe working habits and sound decision-making skills is a must.
Experience working with 3 phase electrical systems up to 480VAC.
Must have a focus on performing the job safely: use of all required PPE, following all safety rules and policies including L.O.T.O., Confined Space, etc.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills:
Must have good oral and written communication skills, capable of utilizing remote support from equipment suppliers as well as other team members.
Technical problem-solving skills - must include the ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment in a fast paced environment – experience working with 3 phase electrical systems, blueprint and schematic interpretation a must.
Previous experience maintaining PLC and CNC controlled equipment preferred.
Knowledgeable in the safe and proper use of test equipment and basic hand tools, must be certifiable to operate forklifts and aerial work platform.
3-5 years of experience in the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance field meeting the above criteria. Previous electrical education preferred.
