Overview

$1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

($17.10-$18.73/hr.)

 

Operates powered lift truck or hand truck to load or unload materials onto or off of trucks, pallets, skids, lifting device, trays or racks and transports loads to designated area. 

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow safety procedures
  • Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Examine material to ensure it meets standards and specifications to verify product quality
  • Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
  • Load, unload material using overhead crane and fork truck.
  • Perform basic inspections on equipment such as crane and fork truck to ensure it is safe.
  • Execute scheduling board

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training is preferred.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English.  Ability to write simple correspondence in English.  Ability to effectively present information in English in one-on-one and small group situations.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Ability to be certified for forklift.
