Schedule:  4 - 10s! 1st shift 6:00am-4:30pm

Your weekends are yours! Flexible schedule within a Monday - Thursday (overtime on Fridays based on customer demand)

 

Pay: Based on Experience 

Range: $17-$19/hour with a 60 day review

 

 

As a Wash Tank operator you'll work in our Pack Department. This is the last point of inspection before parts are shipped to the customer - you'll play a vital role in checking parts and ensuring parts are clean. 

Wash Tank operators are trained to use a Crane to dip baskets in the wash tanks and then pressure wash tubes out afterward.

Responsibilities

  • Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist in assembly, forming, fitting, and welding
  • Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand, pallet jack, or dolly
  • Cleans, scrapes, and grinds metal to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping
  • Sets up machine and/or helps set up machines for operation and may make minor adjustments as needed; Run machines after set-up
  • Checks and monitors the condition of dies, punches, and quality of product being produced
  • Accurately measures and reads blueprints to check parts for compliance
  • Picks up and moves scrap from work areas, cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment
  • Performs final assembly operations
  • Ensures adequate supply of stock is at station to run machines; operates hoists and slings; fills out production reports and label product as needed
  • May conduct helium testing of product, preparing tank for wash line and test and installing metal fittings into fuel tanks
  • Repairs and assembles pallets using power saw and hand tools

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) combined with or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
