As the Metal End Finisher, you’ll be responsible for producing quality parts using a variety of metal finishing process equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Cut off Tubes to correct lengths
- Deburr tubes
- Shapen the ends of the tube per customer specs (adding lips, grooves, pin dots, etc...)
- Stage and Pull Metal Tubes
- Assist in all tube bending activities
- Train on operating tube benders
- Inspect finished tubes for defects (our quality techs double check and sign-off)
- Adjust machine setup to correct quality issues
- Grind tube ends
- Packages parts in appropriate containers.
- Cleans and lubricates machines.

Observe instruments and gauges, obtain sample for laboratory tests. Regulate and adjust control devices (manual, automatic, electronic) to bring about proper chemical reaction. Maintain process records required.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes, viscometer, chemical balance scales, colorimeter, Ph. meters, Conductivity meters and other equipment.
- Tests solutions used in processes such as cleaning and pickling for chemical concentration or other characteristics.
- Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Records test results on standardized forms and writes test reports describing procedures used. Prepares graphs and charts per the ISO - 9001 Standards.
- Cleans laboratory equipment. Calibrates laboratory instruments.
- Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
