Where you will be trusted to develop long-term relationships with customers like Harley, Honda and Polaris? Where you will connect with key stakeholders and be the liaison between our team and the customers to ensure timely and successful delivery of our products? If so, we have a unique opportunity for an Account Manager at our Byron Center location.





    A role like this comes with other important responsibilities which include:

    • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of sales, quality, engineering and production related activities for existing Performance Structure accounts
    • Obtaining new business opportunities from existing and target customers
    • Working with Estimating to coordinate and track quote activity for new business opportunities
    • Operating as the lead point of contact to all assigned customers
    • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of information to assigned customers and internal stakeholders in accordance with stated needs and objectives
    • Tracking and communicating clearly on progress of primary monthly / quarterly initiatives
    • Working with Purchasing to negotiate tooling and/or other purchased components when faced with competitive sales opportunities
    • Forecasting and reporting on key account metrics
    • Assisting with urgent requests and issue escalations, as needed
    • Some travel is required, on average 25% but up to 50% some months

    What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

    We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of proven account management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This role requires someone with the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization.


    Strong candidates would also have excellent written and verbal communication, be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ideal candidates would be high energy, goal-oriented problem solvers proficient in Microsoft Office.
