As an employee/owner at MEC you will contribute in the implementation and managing of technologies for Voice & Data Networks and Remote Access management services. You will provide technical support and implementation expertise of network systems and other communications software and hardware technology. You will also provide guidance and participate in the implementation of capital projects within budget timeline and scope definitions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
We are looking for candidates with a College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration and 3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment. Good candidates would have a working knowledge of internal (LAN) and external (WAN) technology landscape. You must also have a strong knowledge of Networking technologies, protocols and standards in addition to wireless technologies.
Ideal candidates would be hands on analytical problem solvers with attention to detail and that can manage projects to completion on time/budget. You would have knowledge of backup power systems in addition to experience with Mitel, Avaya or similar phones systems.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Network training with Certified Instructor and/or Certified Institution or related job experience.
