     Our growing company is seeking to hire a Quality Manager for our Mayville, Wisconsin facility.  This is an incredible opportunity to work with a world class team! 


    In this role, you will provide leadership of MEC’s Quality Engineering System and team.  This is a great position for a change agent who has passion for driving quality improvements to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.  MEC’s Quality Engineering Manager will take an active role in leading the activities of the Quality Engineering activities that meet and exceed our customer requirements.  




    A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:



    • Responsible for leading team of quality engineers to produce PPAP documentation and obtain PPAP approvals.


    • Responsible for maintaining AIAG/VDA 6.3 PFMEA’s and control plans per customer requirements.


    • Work with purchasing and suppliers to insure suppliers can meet and provide supporting PPAP documentation per customer requirements.


    • Supports DPAR (Design, Process, Assembly Review) activities internally and with customers.

    What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

    Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 - 7 years of quality management experience in a contract manufacturing environment.  Experience with metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint along with experience with quality improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is also required.  It would be great if you had professional certifications (CQA, CQE, etc.).  Since you will be leading people in this role, you will need to be a great leader with solid communication, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and motivate a team.
