Do you love recruitment and shout hooray when you fill jobs with top talent? We have the perfect role for you! MEC is currently recruiting for an HR Generalist who will focus on hiring amazing people to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for MEC’s recruitment function for our WI facilities. This will include creating job postings that attract passive job seekers, sourcing candidates, interviewing, making offers, and coordinating onboarding. This is a lot of responsibility and you will lead the effort of filling 200 or more jobs annually. With that volume, you'll need to love recruitment to love this job.


A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:

  • Conducting needs analysis meetings with management to determine needs, job specifications, and required qualifications.
  • Writing job postings that attract top talent and source top talent using online sources.
  • Coordinating and attending job fairs to promote MEC’s job opportunities.
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing applicants and making recommendations on hiring decisions.
  • Leading improvement projects that impact talent acquisition (website updates, streamlining interview process, and improving the candidate experience).

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience.
