Coordinates internal designated project activites related to the painting process to ensure that objectives of project activites are accomplished within prescribed time frame. Handles the set-up and mixing of paints to production schedule requirements and manufacturer specified mix ratios.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training; or is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrate strong mechanical comprehension and ability.
Candidate required to take notes detailing shift problems and corrective actions.
Familiar with basic process control.
Ability to gather and maintain accurate records.
Possess computer skills.
Willing and able to follow detailed procedures in a variety of work environments.
Position requires a dependable self-starter willing to get the job done with minimal supervision. A good attendance record is required.
