Our growing company is seeking to hire a Human Resources Manager for our Neillsville, WI facility.  This is an incredible opportunity to work with a world class team – apply now and come interview us and I promise you won’t be disappointed!  In this role, you will provide leadership for human resource functions including talent management, employee relations, policies, compliance, performance management, succession planning and organization effectiveness and development.  You should crave and enjoy team work, because you will work closely with supervisors and managers to create HR strategies to support business needs.  You will own the HR function at the facility as an HR Department of one, with leadership and support from the company headquarters. 


A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:

  • Implementing recruiting plans to meet MEC’s strategic needs and hiring top talent to the organization. We hire nothing but that best at MEC. 
  • Administering the talent and performance management process including salary administration and performance improvement.
  • Providing employee relations/counseling in a manner that continues good employee relations and strengthens employee morale
  • Leading safety related activities for the site including compliance, root cause investigation, return to work, safety committee meetings/activities, record keeping, and workers compensation.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 - 7 years of successful human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.  Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership experience and ISO 14001 knowledge is a huge plus.  To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be the type of person that strives every day to provide exceptional customer service to our team members.  You’ll also need the ability to influence strategy and act as a change agent.
